Here's when you let Termocos heat

Today, early in the morning, the first snow has begun to fall all over the country. In the capital, it has dropped by lower intensity, while in rural areas, snow has reached up to two inches of thickness. Despite low temperatures, the pollers will expect at least seven days until the official date when Termokos releases heating for Pristina residents.

However, the regulation explains that if three days in a row are ruled by low heat temperatures, it can be released even before the official date of October 15th.

Adjusting the heater “Termocos” explains that the heating season begins on October 15th and ends on April 15th of next year.

However, if low temperatures reign for three days before the legal deadline for the beginning of the heat season, some preconditions with legal acts in force are permitted to provide an extraordinary supply of heat by October 1st.

“Based on the legal acts in force, depending on climate conditions, the heating season can be cut or extended. If climate conditions are favourable, the heating season could begin after 15 October or end before 15 April of the following year”, the newspaper Express reports.

It is not yet known whether the heat will be released before October 15th despite the low temperatures that are ruling in the country. While, according to Kosovo's Hydrometeorology Institute tomorrow, it is expected to have moderate intensity rainfall. In the mountains, rainfall is likely to be mixed with snow.

The innovation for this heating season is also the special contracts each house or apartment will sign with Thermokos.
