Police in early morning in Las Vegas issued a statement saying Danley was no longer a person of interest in the investigation.
Las Vegas police have identified the male suspect as local resident Stephen Padddock, 64.
Padddock was confirmed dead at the beginning of the investigation, leaving police in search of his 62-year-old friend Marilow Danley.
Police officer Joseph Lombardo said the detectives had found the woman, whom he described as Asian, a length of 1.50, and weighed 50kg.
The attack was discovered Sunday after an armed person on the 32nd floor of the Hotel “Mandalay Bay” opened fire towards a music festival.
Thousands flew as weapons explosions were heard for more than five minutes, at least 50 were killed and another 200 were injured.
US data shows that Paddock lived in a $396,000 bedroom house in a small Mesquit Desert community, 80 miles north of Las Vegas near the state border of Arizona.
Local media said he had lived before in Reno, Nevada, California and Florida.
