The prime ministers of Bulgaria, Greece and Romania have expressed support for Serbia's goal of membership in the European Union, saying this integration would help ensure regional security and peace. “We all know Serbia's natural site is in the European Union”, Bulgaria's Prime Minister Boyko [...] told reporters last night.
“We all know Serbia's natural site is in the European Union”, Bulgaria's Prime Minister Boyko Borissov told reporters last night, following a summit held in the coastal town of Varna, Bulgaria.
In this summit, they have also attended -- Greece's Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, Romania's Mihai Tudose -- and Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq.
This meeting was focused on joint infrastructure, economy, energy and security projects.
Borissov said the three European Union member states will work to accelerate Serbia's EU accession process, which currently has 28 members.
Britain is in the process of leaving the EU. /Rel/
