Glavchev stressed that the “problems of the European perspective are common for Serbia and Bulgaria, and that Bulgaria will provide all necessary assistance to Serbia during the negotiations process during its European Union Council presidency next year. ”
He added that Bulgaria can be transferred to Serbia and its experiences regarding Chapter 23, which is of utmost importance to Serbia, reports “b92”, Periscopi broadcast.
Officials “noted the fact that Serbia has made great efforts to secure all rights for the Bulgarian national minority, but there are unresolved issues in the field of education and information”.
Glavchev was also hosted by Serbia's first Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic.
The Serbian MPJ said in a statement that they “indicated that relations between the two countries are satisfactory, as well as intensive political dialogue in the past period”.

In that sense, officials stressed the completion of the eastern province of Corridor 10, modernisation of the Nis-Dimitrovgrad railway, as well as the project to build Serbia-Bulgarian gas interconnection.
Daciq “expressed gratitude to Bulgaria for its support for continuing the EU enlargement policy, which is one of the priorities of its European Union Council presidency in the first half of next year. ”
