The decree of Serbian judges and prosecutors from northern Kosovo has raised doubts and reactions to how and in what form they have sworn in. The decree and oath ceremony, held last week, was closed to the media and that such continues to be commented in different ways in Pristina and Belgrade.

Serbia's prime minister, Ana Brnabiq, said last week that Serbian judges and prosecutors They have not taken an oath. in front of Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, but have issued separate and neutral statements.

For you to have precise information: our judges have made no oaths, but have issued a separate, neutral declaration on status. The truth is important”, Brnabiq said.

Regarding how citizens were informed about the oath of northern Serbian judges and prosecutors, MPs from opposition political parties have reacted to the Kosovo Assembly, saying they have not sworn under Kosovo's laws and Constitution.

Opposition MPs, in addition, have said the form oath -- as they have said -- to hide has been the agreement of the Government of Kosovo and Serbia. The opposition have asked the Kosovo presidency and a video recording to see in detail the way they swear.

From the Kosovo president's office, Hashim Thaci in a written reply said the “process of integration of judges and prosecutors of the non-US community, within our unique justice system, has been made in line with legislation in power and the justice agreement. Only a unique justice system functions in Kosovo from now on, as the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Kosovo” define it, Radio Free Europe reportedly responded to the presidency.

Serbian judges and prosecutors, who reportedly have sworn in before the president of Kosovo, except for physical appearances have not yet begun with regular work.

Blerim Isufaj, head of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, told Radio Free Europe that prosecutors are present at home today.

Of course they're in the office, let's know who's in the office. They're installing computers. They're on the official network. They have accepted criminal codes in the Serbian language. We've ordered the codes of the procedure and the codes for minors to the company, and this is currently situation”, Isufaj said. He has not wanted to talk about the way prosecutors have sworn in, but how he said “The prosecutors will work with Kosovo laws”.

Brussels Agreement for justice Between Kosovo and Serbia, which concerns integration into the Kosovo system of Serbian judges and prosecutors from the country's north, was achieved in February 2015.

With the implementation of the Agreement on Justice, it is pre-arranged to erase Serbian courts and prosecutors in Kosovo and Serbia, which so far have been dealing with subjects from Kosovo territory.
