The Independent” writes that the last time such a phenomenon was seen was 300 years ago.
The sun will experience solar activity similar to that in the 17th and 18th centuries, where people of that time described that period as “The Little Ice Age” that froze parts of Europe and America warn solar scientists.
Scientists are now able to predict solar cycles with greater accuracy than before, thanks to a new model that shows irregularities in the sun's heart.
The model shows that solar activity will drop by 60% between 2030 and 2040.
These conditions envisioned by scientists are thought to have not occurred since “The Ice Age”, which lasted from 1645 to 1715.
