School Texts Unsuitable for Student Age

A knowledge of the physical changes in the human body in puberty is essential for children in primary education, but not to be burdened with information that does not match 11 years old. With such textbooks, they are facing fifth-grade students in the “Man and Nature” class, which requires that teachers change.

Fifth-graders are receiving instructions from their teacher on how to complete the test on the “Man and Nature”.

Even though children are willing to perform this test, educator Joy Fazliu-Gashi shows that many teaching units of this subject have been difficult to understand by her students aged 1011.

While Melik Gashi, a fifth grade student, also says that “I thought it was medicine or some cleaning that I heard a lot of words, sterile bandages related to medication...”

For psychologist Buke Fyza, it is unnecessary for this age because they also plant fear of changes in their bodies and also influence gender discrimination, since it refers to only females and not even males.

Psychologist Fyza points out that infertility is not just cold but a series of other factors that affect both genders.

She explains that children aged 1011 should know only the essentials of starting their physical change in puberty.
