In the 1980s, another cosmologist named Alex Wilenkins at Tufts University in Massachusetts introduced the mechanism by which a universe could be created.

Wilenkin said that the laws of quantum mechanics seemed to suggest that a universe could be created when there was no time, no space, and no consideration for the theory that pairs of particles can spontaneously emerge from space.

It was suggested that this meant that a small particle of space could come out of nowhere and then be manipulated to swell on a cosmic scale. The conclusion of Wilenkin's theory was that Big Bang could have been created theoretically by nothing.

Of course, through this theory other scientists began to wonder if the laws of quantum mechanics can be used by human beings to create their own universe. One such scientist was a physicist named Edward Gwendelman who is located at Ben Gurion University in Israel.

Currently, he is engaged in research that can form the foundation of the theory that can bring about a completely new existence created by man.

In view of the wide scale of such a project, it is natural that many people have raised concerns about potential ethical and theological implications. However, Gwendelman said that the moral issues of the potential creation of intelligent life were not of interest to him.

Other physicists engaged in the same research as the Nobuyuki Sacai University in Japan say that the feasibility of the project should be considered properly before ethical implications are considered.

At this present time, the possibility of creating a universe in a laboratory is distant. The physicists believe that the cosmos would have to be created in a specific design lab and used instruments that have tremendous technological power.
