The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) has used peace evidence in a public campaign spot for the October 22nd local elections about the women's candidacy in the elections. On the spot published on October 12Protagonist are Valdete Idrizi, Mitrovica chairmanial candidate Gonge Chaushi, North Mitrovica chairmanial candidate and Sabiha Shala, the mayoral candidate of Pec.
In this election spot, candidates deliver a message coming out of the PDK.
In the part of the message Gonge Chaushi, a North Mitrovica candidate, says the PDK is the only “party to have run women for the 2017 local elections.
“in these elections, on October 22nd, the Democratic Party of Kosovo is the only party that has women candidate”, she said.
That statement is not true. In the October 22nd local elections, eight women for mayors run. Three of these candidates are from the Democratic Party of Kosovo.
Except The PDK in local elections, among the candidates, also has women from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Alternative, the Democratic League of Kosovo, the Word Party and “Noova Democraticska Stranka”.
The AAK in these elections has run, Arta Ahmeti Jajlan for the Crenassian Town.
Mimoza Kusari Lila for the Gjakova municipality is running among the alternative ranks.
The Democratic League of Kosovo has run the Isuffin Hyriette Isufi for Elez's Khan Town.
The Word Party ran Eneida Kelmendi for the Pec municipality.
Meanwhile Nova Democraticska Stranka ran Emily Redzepi for the Prizren municipality. /Kallex/
