The Foundation Court in Gjilan has approved Gjilan's Constitutional Prosecutor's request for the appointment of a 1-month-long detention measure against defendant A. S, who allegedly deprived her baby of life.
Defendant A. S., a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo from the municipality of Gjilan, allegedly by 27.10.2017, has deprived her baby of life during birth or after birth, also tried to hide the performance of this work.
With these actions the defendant allegedly committed criminal work “the murder of babies during birth, from Article 182 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code (KPRK)”.
The sides have the right to appeal to this decision at the Court of Appeals, the media communiqué said.
