Minister of Education, Science and Technology Shyqiri Bytyqi has violated the regulation on the work of the State Quality Council (KSHC) of the Kosovo Agency for Accreditation (AKA). This, in addition to members of the State Council of Quality, has also appointed the chairman and deputy chairman of this board, Koha Ditore writes today.
Article 2 of this regulation determines that “The KSHC chairman's election is done with the majority of votes from the KSHC members”. At the same time Article 1 of the 6 of this regulation stresses that the KSHC in its candidate proposal elects the vice president of the KSHC with open votes.
The resolution of the KSHC deputy chairman is done with the majority of votes from the ranks of KSHC”, the regulation stresses.
But in a newspaper proposal, Bytyqi has not called this decision a disregard for regulations. He has even said that the new board will abolish the regulation because there are some shortcomings.
