The Kosovo government has denied Serbia's Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic's statements, according to which the Republic of Suriname has drawn recognition of the state of Kosovo.

Suriname has recognised Kosovo's independence on June 8, 2016. This country is located in South America, with a surface of 163,820 square miles [1,820 sq km] and over 550 thousand inhabitants.
Since declaring independence on February 17th 2008, Kosovo 114 countries recognized him.
