Foreign Affairs Minister Nikola Dimitrov ordered this at the joint press conference in Skopje today with his Kosovo colleague, Behgjet Pacolli.
Macedonia deals with this issue with extraordinary attention because it is a matter that separates our two neighbours, who we want to be on the same side. We will have no key role in that process, and after the day will come in order we will take into account the interest of our friends from Kosovo, the interest of our friends from Serbia and bring a decision in line with the interests of the Republic of Macedonia, which include the interests of our fellow citizens, who are members of the Albanian community”, Dimitrov stressed.
He cited that all Balkan states must quickly accept the prospect that there is no side, even on more sensitive issues, because, as “said, all together one day we will be found on the same side”.
Pacolli, in turn, stressed that Macedonia's membership in international organisations also increases the quality of the lives of citizens in Kosovo, and mentioned that this process goes in the other direction.
“We support Macedonia and expect its support. We are two neighbouring countries and the neighbor is not resolved. Our fate is to co-operate”, Kosovo Foreign Affairs Minister added.
