The country's prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, through the social Facebook network, has declared that the Kosovo government -- and personally as Kosovo prime minister -- strongly condemns the act of intervention of Serbia's institutions in the election campaign for local elections in Kosovo.
Such actions conflict with the principle of good neighbourlyity, and significantly violate the goal of normalising relations between the two states.
The integration of Kosovo Serbs is mutual interest, and any attempt to undermine that goal will be seen as disrespecting their political will. Kosovo Serbs have the right to choose, and electing their representatives without interference will be respected by the authorities of the Republic of Kosovo, Haradinaj writes.
Haradinaj's full post office:
The Kosovo government and I personally as Kosovo Prime Minister strongly condemn the act of intervention of Serbia's institutions in the election campaign for local elections in Kosovo. Such acts conflict with the principle of good neighbourlyity, and significantly violate the goal of normalising relations between the two states.
The integration of Kosovo Serbs is mutual interest, and any attempt to undermine that goal will be seen as disrespecting their political will.
Kosovo Serbs have the right to choose, and electing their representatives without interference will be respected by the authorities of the Republic of Kosovo.
