Haliti: Do Not Expect Special Decisions

There is no disturbing reason for not functioning the Assembly. I think the only reason is local elections. I know that citizens have expected more because of the pledges, but big decisions are made on the basis of reasonableness”, Haliti said.

Further, he has added that if someone thinks that an extraordinary decision will not be made.

I think there's a need because we're in normal situation”, he said.

Furthermore, the deputy head of the Parliament has said the government has difficulty proceeding in the country of major issues such as demarcation.

The demarcation issue is not easy to process. The government has a hard time with the fact that a part of government members have been opposed to demarcation, but if the commission found that it was okay, I am confident that they could bring it to the Assembly, but if we don't have to wait and see how we will proceed and how we will act to approach other issues that are required for visa liberalisation not only on demarkation<18x1>, he said, Zeri.fo.

He further said that whatever decision the Parliament or Government will make, the signed and approved agreement for demarcation cannot change unless there is an additional agreement with Montenegro.

For this, Haliti said it would be best for the issue of ratification of demarcation to be sent to the Arbitrazhi Court, as an international decision would be made. He cited other arguments about how borders are set around the world, but said Kosovo should act as required.
