Final Election Results Declared This Day

Central Election Commission Chairman (KQZ) Valdete Daka, has indicated yesterday during the day that the institution leading it is in the process of publishing as fast as the results of the October 22nd local elections.

She said the priority remains to prepare the CEC for the second round of elections, to be held next month. These first CEC comments have been made during a press conference, thanking all those who have helped make the election process as good as possible. Daka also expressed satisfaction with the assessment this institution has received from the European Union on the election process.

We have already given our country a view around the world for free, democratic and international elections. It has not been easy for our institution to go from one electoral process to another, but the CEC has already proved to be an institution that has full capacities and, above all, great will to meet the” obligations, it has said.

Daka said that from citizens to high organs that participated in the elections have contributed to transparency and democracy in the elections, Zeri writes today.

Daka expressed satisfaction with the European Union's assessment of the October 22nd election process.
