Four years have been designed to extend the works to one of the world's most famous buildings, and the total cost will amount to 68m euros, the TCh notes.
Built in 1859, Big Ben, was officially known as “The Tower of the Clock”, a name that was held until 2002, when it was changed to “Tower Elizabeth” in honor of Britain's current queen, Elizabeth II.
