The Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo(BSPK) has held Congress for last Friday The election of the new BSPK chairman, but away from the media.
At this convention, the new chairman has been elected Avni Hajdini, who in his last term was deputy chairman of BSPK, while only Alush Sejdiu has for counterCandids.
The SBASK chairman, Nundman Jashari, said he welcomed and wished the new chairman's election, but did not feel well that the congress was held without the media and that there was not much transparency for the public. According to him, BSPK had not invited the media, but I don't know why.
Jashar, who heads the largest union federation instead of education, said they have attended congress and have voted all SBASK delegates, but have not had the right to propose a candidate for chairman, because it is a preliminary agreement between BSPK and SBASK.
While Haxhi Arifi was elected BSPK chairman in 2006, and by the end of 2011 he received the second mandate he had completed in December 2016.
Otherwise, Arifi had turned 65 on July 1, 2014.
