On Tuesday, Catalonian regional President Carles Puigdemont acknowledged the people's “mandate for the goal of becoming an independent republic” and then immediately demanded the Catalan parliament to suspend the effects of the declaration of independence to launch dialogue [with Madrid] in the coming weeks”, reports “Russia Today<5>, Periskopi.
