So said CEC head Valdete Daka, at a media conference in which he positively praised the first round of municipal elections, which were held last Sunday.
The CEC chairman said that Kosovo has testified that it is good to hold free, fair and democratic elections, while thanks to citizens, commissionors, political parties and their candidates who contributed to the success of the election process.
The CEC's work, from now on, is directed to announcing the final results as soon as possible. The Centre for Counting and Results has accepted sensitive election material from all municipalities, and we will soon begin counting on bail, by mail and votes of persons with special needs, to proceed further with the proclamation of these results”, Daka said.
The priorities for the CEC is initially announced in time the final results of the mayoral elections, and that the CEC will soon begin with the publication of all copies of the scan of results forms for candidates and forms of final results.
All candidates, whether in the race for mayoral or municipal congregations, will be able to see their results for each poll by electronically reviewing copies of these forms that have come from the” polls, Daka said.
She has expressed optimism that even in the run-off race on November 19th, there will be a good election outcome.
