In an interview for the show <x0...

During the interview Cana has confessed even the difficult moment when De Biasi asked him to stay on the bench first in the match against Romania, which Cana said had not felt bad at all. Cana also confessed to the moments when she asked the team to work hard so that Cana could play another game - after the match with Romania, after he had put the last match with Armenia - and then would leave the field forever as football players.

Parts of the interview

Fevziu: One of the moments I've had a private conversation with De Basin, one of the trainers who left his mark on the Albanian national was when he told me. Lorik Cana was a very great captain. Especially before the match with Romania, when I was forced to say that because of the situation, he would stand on the bench and follow the game from the bench, even though he knew it was the last fight with the national. He told me you told him that if you were in his place, you'd do the same. Is it true?

Cana: Yeah, it's true.

Fevziu: Did you feel bad?

Cana: No, I didn't. There comes a time, that I had some kind of position, some sort of identity and a task within the national team except players.

Fevziu: That's what De Biasi said, playing the role of a leader inside the team to keep him in place.

Cana: If the task is that you don't have to be active inside the field to start the match, it's your job to get the team to walk.

Fevziu: You started from the bench, but in the last moments when you entered the field, the entire stadium, including Albanians and French, who were at Lyon Stadium stood up and greeted you. How did you feel right now?

Cana: Fantastic. In a remarkable way. I had so much excitement before the fight and I greeted them. In Lyons there were almost 30,000 Albanians and I knew it would be the last time I was going to play and have people in the field, it was a little hard to deal with emotions, and when I got into the field, I got in with an extraordinary desire, and I wanted to win that fight, because we really had the hope of qualifying. And when we won I had a lot of faith that we would qualify. That's what I asked the team a day ago, after my training I told you, guys playing games that don't be my last fight, and we actually did our best not to be the last game.

Fevziu: What was the moment you felt proud and happy in 15 years with the national team?

Cana: After the battle with Armenia.
