Basri Kodra: Here's how we're gonna break up the power of PDK's Kacanik

In local elections held on October 22nd, more than 60 per cent of Kachanic citizens have voted against The PDK and current power. So said Basi Kodra in an interview with Periscope, convinced that over 60 percent of the citizens who were opposed in the first round of elections. The PDK will support the Vetevendosje Movement in the second round.
“We are satisfied with the result because we have noted increases compared to past local elections. Knowing that most voters have opposed PDK) in the October 22nd elections, then we hope we win the race in the run-off. Over 60 percent of citizens have voted against PDK's”, Kodra told Periscope.
According to him, the citizens' wish has been that the Democratic Party of Kosovo is no longer in power in Kacanik.
“Citizens who voted against PDK) and have not voted for us, they will do it in the run-off race. Because their wish has been that the PDK has not been in power any longer. Our fact is the governing programme for which citizens will vote and support us”, Kodra said.
He also spoke of the possibility of co-operation with any other subject in the runoff race.
“We are not talking about coalitions, all votes are welcomed depending on whose subject. We have not yet discussed coalitions with other parties. There is still no decision on this. What's most important is the mood of citizens against earlier power, so we expect that mood to be run by us and beat it. The PDK) -- in the run-off race” -- Kodra concluded.
In the October 22nd elections, Vetevendosje has been ranked the second party in Kacanik with 20 per cent of the vote, while the Democratic Party of Kosovo has managed to secure 40 per cent of the vote. These two parties will face a run-off on November 19th./Periscopi
