US remoteised attacks have hit a convoy of militants in the Kurram Tribal region, near the Pakistan-Afganistan border, killing 20 extremists. It appears this is the second attack since August, when US President Donald Trump has accused Pakistan of sheltering extremists.
An attack on the same region in September has left three people dead.
Intelligence officials said the latest attack has hit the Hakan militants' complex and that it has targeted the commander of this group, Abu Bakar.
Pakistan considers the planned US attacks to be a violation of its sovereignty. Islamabad denies offering shelter to militants.
