Albanian professor released, arrested for terrorism

The news has been reported by Malaysian media, which claim that the Albanian professor, arrested for terrorism, has already been released.

The release of the Albanian cleric living in Malaysia has also been confirmed by State Police sources.

Zaimaj was arrested in early October along with eight other people, suspected as part of the Filipino terrorist group “Abu Sayef”.

Albanian Imam was suspected to have been involved in recruiting persons to fight alongside the IS terrorist organisation.

Zaimaj was registered as she spoke to one of the members of the Filipino group on the phone, and shortly after that, she had been arrested.
