Two cars and some oven equipment worth about 60 thousand euros have been burned today around 04:15 a.m. in the Bosniaks' neighborhood in northern Mitrovica, while windows of another car were damaged in the country.
The owner of these cars, Tefik Fetahi, also owner of the oven, "Tequis Bakery" at the Bosnian Quarter, has announced about Kosova Prees that around 4:15 a.m., he heard a powerful explosion.
According to him, until he had gone to his parcel's yard, everything was almost burned up while he had seen only smoke and flames. Saying the damage caused to him totals about 60 thousand euros, he expressed disappointment with the country's institutions for not enough interest by Albanian residents in this part.
I heard a noise, explosion. I've come close, this is my place, my cars. Firemen had also arrived, meaning 4:20 were firemen and police. I'm here, I've seen smoke and smoke, that's all. It is the 2011 BMW, the other Golf 7 year production year 2014. The oven equipment that has been burned there is worth 150,000 euros at least totaling about 60 thousand euros. With structures that have little to look at even of us where we live, I am disappointed with them. As long as we're sure you're looking at”, Fetah said.
Deniz Qaushi, chairman of the Local Security Council in this neighbourhood, said Albanian residents of this section have already become difficult to survive. He has appealed to competent bodies to urgently handle this incident.
Except that living here is hard because of security, we're seeing that today even survival has become a problem. This is a disaster for us, for the inhabitants of this part of us who live here. We expect concrete answers, not only investigations continue, so we appeal to the law bodies to deal urgently with this”, Qaushi stressed.
On the other hand, Besim Hoti, deputy police director for the northern region, said such cases present uncertainty for all residents in northern Mitrovica. He has suggested that Kosovo police will work closely with residents, complainers and all those who have any kind of information, leading to the identification of the leaders of this criminal act.
According to information the police have access to, it's about a fire-fire, practically cause of general danger, believed to have been initiated by devices from still unidentified persons to this point. Of course, Kosovo police will work closely with residents, complainers and all those who have any kind of information that will lead to identifying the leaders of this criminal act. Such cases as individuals, be they organized, practically generally present uncertainty for all residents in northern Mitrovica. Therefore, we have also sought from the local government level and all other institutions to co-operate with Kosovo police and citizens with the aim of preventing these works”, Hoti has said.
Otherwise, during the night, about three o'clock today, the roof of a house was attacked by stones and a shop was broken at the Minor Center in northern Mitrovica, whose owners are Albanian. Police are working intensively on the dawning of these two incidents and apprehending authors.
