The October 22nd election process, though it was described as calm and without major incidents, has not gone through without complaints and sentences.
The electoral panel for Ances and Extension (PZAP) has told the newspaper “Voice” that during election day they have accepted 223 complaints, which are still under consideration. P ZAP also indicated that fines have been pronounced for almost all parties.
Meanwhile, to these irregularities, the chief of the European Union's Election Observation Mission, Alojz Peterle, has also noted some irregularities, such as the threats made during the campaign among Serb majority communities, the lack of lists and some family voting cases.
We remember that during election day the State Prosecutor and police have detained persons suspected of misuse of official duty and misuse of votes.
