The number of victims from the Venezuela earthquake comes up to 5,346

The death toll from last month's successive earthquakes in Venezuela rose to 5,346, National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez said on Tuesday.
Rodriguez posted a sign on X showing that a total of 16,740 people were injured by powerful quakes.
He said authorities have helped 128,324 families and created 107 temporary camps housing 21,235 people, while 17,907 remain without permanent housing.
According to Rodriguez, earthquakes damaged 856 buildings, including 190 that collapsed.
Twin earthquakes, measuring 7.2 and 7.5, hit the South American nation on June 24th.
