United States President Donald Trump has warned Iran he will face serious consequences following the murder of several American soldiers over the weekend.
In a post on the Truth Social platform, Trump said any attack on American forces would receive a much tougher response.
Every time Iran kills an American soldier, it will pay multiplely for that murder”, Trump wrote.
He added that this order was forwarded to Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, Joint Staff Chief General Daniel Caine, as well as other military leaders.
Meanwhile, the US Army identified two soldiers who lost their lives in Jordan on Monday, while defending a base from ballistic missile attacks and Iranian fears.
Authorities are conducting tests to confirm whether found remains belong to a third soldier, who results missing after the same attack.
Also, another American military man lost his life in Iraq during a controlled explosion of an Iranian drone, reports The Guardian, broadcasts the signal.
