Three Kosovars dead in Skopje accident near Kosovo border

Three Vushtrri citizens who were reported missing have been found dead in a car that was overthrown in northern Macedonia, near the border with Kosovo.
According to the Macedonian media report, the event was reported by a citizen around 10:35, after observing the car turned upside down near the first round, in the key to the new highway under construction, respectively, in the section where the segment of the highway stops.
It becomes known that two of them had arrived at Skopje International Airport and were later headed towards Kosovo.
After the random reporting, police teams appeared at the scene. At 23:07 a doctor from the Early Medical Aid found the deaths of all three.
At the scene, the Security Unit teams at the Road Communications, police officials from the Chirre Police Station, as well as inspectors from the Sector for Research near the same station, were involved.
Even the chairman of the Vushtrri municipality, Ferit Idrizi, has announced their deaths. In a Facebook post, it wrote that due to the separation from life of three citizens from Vushtrria, the pre-representation concerts “Dies of Diaspora 2026” will be cancelled.
Because of the tragic separation from the lives of three of our fellow citizens, we announce that the first concerts are cancelled within the manifestation of Diaspora's 2026. In respect and solidification with the Ternava and Shabani families, the concerts will be postponed for another date for which you will be announced in time through the official channels of the Vushtrri municipality. In these severe moments, we express our deepest condolences to the Ternava and Saban families and co-operate the pain of this serious loss”, says the report. /Periscope/
