The 48 - hour driver who caused the accident where two people lost their lives in Istog

According to the Kosovo Police, the accident occurred on July 20, 2026, around 15:20, where two cars with local license plates were involved.

A person died at the scene, while the second victim passed away after being sent to the Emergency Regional Hospital in Pec.

Three others have been injured and treated at the hospital.

By order of the State Attorney, the suspect has been detained for 48 hours, while the case is being investigated by traffic accident investigators.

We inform you that by July 20, 2026, around 3:20 p.m., police have been informed of a traffic accident that took place in the village of Sushicé-Istog.
