Justin Bieber joins the history show of the World Final

The 2026 World Cup final is expected to bring one of the biggest musical spectacles in sports history. Justin Bieber has been confirmed as one of the main names of the first official performance of “haltime” in a World Final, where he will perform alongside world stars such as Madonna, Shakira and the famous Korean group BTS.
FIFA and Global Citizen have announced that Bieber has joined the list of artists going up on stage on July 19, 2026, at New Stadium New Jersey, where the grand finale of the tournament will take place.
The show will be cured by Chris Martin, Coldplay's frontman, while organisers aim to turn this moment into a combination of football, music and social influence. Bieber's involvement makes it even greater, giving the World Final a dimension similar to the spectacular spectacles usually seen in the biggest sporting events in the United States.
Beyond the power of popular names of music, the event also has a humanitarian mission. Show Will Support FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, a fund intended to raise $100m to expand access to quality education and football opportunities for children worldwide.
Justin Bieber is proud to be part of this project, stressing that the World has the power to unite people as few other events in the world. He added that he is grateful that his participation is also linked to a cause that helps children to have greater opportunities for education.
The stage will not only be the main names. The programme will include performance by Burna Boy, conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the PS22 Chorus choir, participating in Coldplay. Organisers have also warned special presentations by characters known as Kermi and Miss Piggy, turning the show into a festival for generations.
Burna Boy, who will strongly represent the African scene in this global event, has described participation as privilege and responsibility. He said the World is one of the rare moments that unites the whole world and that this show will be not only a football and culture holiday, but also an opportunity to create more chances for children through education.
Even FIFA President Gianni Infantino has praised the importance of this project, stressing that education remains one of the world's greatest needs. He said FIFA is proud that Bieber joins a list of artists like Madonna, Shakira and BTS in supporting the fund aimed at creating greater opportunities for children in education and football.
Organisers have compared the size of this show to the greatest humanitarian concerts in history. Hughes Evans, co-founder and executive director of Global Citizen, has declared that this could be one of the most attended music moments in history, with millions of viewers worldwide.
With this show, the World's 2026 final is expected to set a new standard for global sports events, bringing together the biggest music stars, football emotion and a cause intended to leave a trail beyond the playing field. /Periscopi/
