Iran claims to have hit US military base in Jordan

Iran's Revolutionary Guard has hit an American military base in Jordan, Iranian state media reported.

According to the report, the base set up in Al-Azraz, as well as a command centre and control in the region of Western"Azi", was hit with ten ballistic missiles, writes Skynews.

If the American Army repeats its aggression, the other American bases in the region will not be safe from our powerful"fire, said the Islamic Revolutionary Guard statement (IRGC).

Meanwhile, the Jordanian state news agency, citing a military source, announced earlier that Jordan's air defence brought down eight Iranian-prone missiles to its territory.

The US Army has not yet commented on the reported attack.

Otherwise, the US and Iran have resumed attacks on each other following a ceasefire reached last month. /Periscopi/
