Unacceptable scene in Paraguay, Muckries doll ends in flames

Tensions after the 1/16 phase match of the 2026 World Cup final between France and Paraguay have not calmed down, while images that have caused numerous reactions on social networks have circulated.
According to French media report TF1 InfoDuring the traditional San Juan Ara festival in Paraguay, a group of participants burned an improvised doll featuring France's captain, Kylyan Mbarpe, which has been widely condemned as unacceptable.
The images of the incident spread rapidly to social networks, prompting strong reactions both in France and international opinion, Telegrafi reports, broadcast Periscope.
The elimination of Paraguay from France in the 1/16th phase of the final appears to have left bitter taste in some of the fans, while Mbarppe, as the leader of"Les Bleus", has turned into the main target of their anger.
The event comes in the wake of earlier controversy caused by racist statements of a Paraguay senator against French attackers, who raised tensions and caused reactions at the diplomatic level.
After publishing videos of the burning of the Mbarpe doll, many voices have described the incident as an unacceptable act, while FIFA is expected to be under pressure to review the event and decide whether to take any action regarding the behaviour of fans and persons involved. /Periscope/
