FIFA has set up a $50 million premiere for the federation that will raise the trophy at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. With the amount of $1.5 million involved in preparations, the world champion will total $55.5m from FIFA.
The increase in rewards over the decades has been remarkable. Italy received $2.2 million for the triumph in 1982, while Argentina in 2022 won $42 million after its success in Qatar.
