Autopsy reveals cause of Turkish actress Ece Irtem's death

Turkish actress Ece Irtem, known for her role as “Isil” in the series “Serbian Capital”, passed away several weeks ago at the age of 35.
At first, it was reported that the actress had died as a result of a heart attack, and later doubts arose that her death might be linked to a monkey bite during a trip to Thailand.
Following demand for further investigation and conducting a new autopsy, the Law Medicine Institute in Turkey has determined the final cause of the actress's death.
According to the forensics report, Ece Itrem has passed away as a consequence of Ethic Alcohol Poisoning.
A high level of alcohol in her blood, about 395 mg/dl, has been recorded in the analysis, while experts have concluded that death has resulted from ethanol poisoning.
Earlier, the actress's family had raised doubts about a possible link between her death and an ape bite during vacations in Thailand, as signs had been observed on her arm.
Her lawyer had demanded that this too be considered during the autopsy because of the danger of possible complications, including severe infections.
In her statement, the actress's mother had indicated that on the night before her death they had been at a birthday party and then returned home.
She had claimed that her daughter had consumed a lot of alcohol and also used strong medicine against depression.
According to Mother's confession, she had found her daughter without signs of life the next morning.
