(4 hours ago)At least 12 people were killed in Iran by American air strikes during the last day, bringing the total number of dead to 50 since the beginning of this recent phase of war, according to the Iranian Health Ministry.
At least 500 people have also been injured in US air strikes since 27 June, when the fragile ceasefire in the region began to break up, said Hosseyin Kermanpour, a ministry spokesman, writes CNN, Pryskopi.
Five women and two children are among those killed last month, he said.
