Other KSF members carry out operational and logistical preparations for the Gaza mission, pending “synjali” to start

Kosovo Security Forces are continuing preparations for the delocation of its contact in Gaza in co-ordination with the International Security Force headquarters. All of this under the international stabilisation mission in Gaza. The last ones heading towards that country are four KSF members.
The peace board headed by the United States announced that members of the Force will support security efforts in Gaza in areas such as logistics and civil affairs.
Under this mission, incumbent Defence Minister Liridona Gashi's chief of cabinet has indicated that the rest of the contingent has completed operational and logistical preparations and, after final co-ordination with the mission's Staff, will start towards Gaza to get its duties.
The participation of the Republic of Kosovo on this mission presents an important step in consolidating its role as active contributor to international security. This commitment simultaneously marks the first participation in a UN-endorsed mission, reflecting the level of confidence and partnership with international allies”, Gashi has said.
And those dealing with security issues say the KSF is placing its capacities in the service of international peace and security, isolating as the most important moment in Kosovo's state consolidation.
With this mission, the KSF is writing a historic chapter on its journey as a modern, professional and worthy force for international missions. On the eve of completing the 10-year transition, this commitment testifies to Kosovo's readiness to be part of global security architecture and its journey towards NATO.
