(2 hours ago)Elvis Hoxha, known as Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's adviser, has appeared these days in the protest against the project in Zrinec. As shown in a video published on social media, Hoxha presents the protest as a new division between <x0c> people” and “paronizers”, saying that after this movement “for Rama, for Berisha, history has changed for all.
But the presence of Hoxha, who works and lives in Kosovo, adds further debate on the presence of political and public actors who are not directly part of the local cause of Albanian residents and citizens.
We remember that during the last few days, several Kosovo Vetevendosje Movement activists have also been seen in protest, among them figures known for involvement in strong political stakes and violent clashes in Pristina.
Although their participation does not diminish civic concern for Zrvenci, it raises serious questions about efforts to orient the protest towards other political agendas outside its original core. /Periscopi/
