(23 days ago)Thousands of citizens are expected to gather again today in Square before the prime minister to protest the Zrvenci project.
Today, the fourth national gathering with massive participation of citizens, civil society representatives and environmentalists is expected to be organised, which opposed the violence exercised against protesters and land owners. The gathering will take place again today at 6:00.
Activists will gather at Skenderbej Square and march symbolically towards the prime minister.
A day earlier, protesters have indicated that the sʹka dialogue with Rama and that the government should annul the project and resign.
Prime Minister Rama himself in his public appearance has flatly indicated that the government's top draft will be realised, while inviting a representation of 20 protesters to sit at the table. But this request was rejected yesterday by citizens who considered it an attempt to divide.
