Weekend high temperatures in Kosovo, Dukagjin region most affected

The Hydrometeorological Institute suggests that today in Kosovo it will hold sunny weather.
IHK reports that minimum temperatures will range between 13 and 16 degrees Celsius, while maximum temperatures from 27 to 33 degrees.
The wind will blow from the northwest at speeds of 4 m/s.
IHKMK has indicated Thursday that over the next five days there will be gradual temperature increases.
The institute has appealed to citizens for caution from prolonged exposure to the sun and to stay hydrated.
After IHPC's projections, from the 2550th June 2026, temperatures will be on a gradual rise throughout Kosovo's territory. The Dukagjini region is expected to register heat waves level 2, while the rest of the country mainly level 1.
According to IHK on Saturday, the Dukagjini region, Peja, Gjakova, Prizren passes into the average heat wave, (Nileli 2), with temperatures of 3539 °C.
Even on Sunday, June 28th Dukaagjini remains the most affected region with temperatures of up to 39 °C, while the rest of the country is expected to have 3050 °C.
The IHK has sought caution from extended exposure to the sun, stay hydrated and follow IKKPK recommendations.
