candidate for prime minister of The PDK, Bedri Hamza, at its closing rally, has said the Democratic Party of Kosovo knows what responsibility means.

We've been there in the most difficult moments in the country. We were there when Kosovo was built from the foundation. We were there when the state had to be declared, built and protected. We were there when major decisions had to be made on Kosovo's freedom, independence, institutions and Euro-Atlantic future. And today, again, when Kosovo needs seriousness, unity and direction, we are here. We're here with people who have experience. We're here with people who can rule. We're here with a program that affects every citizen's life. We are here with respect for the past, responsible for the present and planned for the future.”, Hamza said.

On this road, Hamza said he didn't forget those who sacrificed for this country.

“We do not forget the founders, fighters, contributors and all those who gave everything for Kosovo to be free. We don't even forget our leaders who today are not physically among us, but their country in the history of Kosovo can't get any injustice. President Thaci, Chairman Veselin, baci Jakup and Rexha will return even stronger. We look forward to them. We miss them and need Kosovo. And Kosovo, with them, will move more united forward.”, he said.

Hamza then said that he would speak not only of the glorious past but also of the glorious future ahead.

For a Kosovo where our children get better education. For a Kosovo where the patient does not wait months to receive health care. For a Kosovo where business is not viewed as an enemy, but as a partner. For a Kosovo where farmer, worker, teacher, doctor, police, soldier, pensioner, and student feel respected by their country. For a Kosovo where institutions are not in service of a party, but in the service of citizens. For a Kosovo that co-operates with allies, it strengthens friendships and protects national interest wisely, not by improvised. This is the Kosovo we want. This is Kosovo we deserve. This is Kosovo we will work for every day.”, he has said.
