A3 power plant unit “Kosovo A“returns to production, KEK says

The A3 power plant unit “Kosovo A” has been successfully restored to operation and has been synchronized with the electromagnetic system around 10:00am, the Kosovo Energy Corporation has announced today.
The KEK said that after the launch of recorded leaks into the A3 unit's pipe system and the successful implementation of other technical activities, the unit has returned to production thanks to the extraordinary <x0s> commitment, professionalism and dedication of employees and technical staff of TC Kosova A, who worked without interruption for its return to operation in record 11x1>.
“Essentially, the unit operates in stable mode, while its production capacities have already been nominated into the system, strengthening the security of the electricity supply and stability of the country's energy system. This success proves once again the expertise, experience and willingness of the KEK professional teams to effectively address operational challenges and ensure secure, sustainable and reliable functioning of the Corporation's geox1> generation capacities.
In parallel with daily operations, KEK said it is successfully continuing to implement the largest investment programme in the energy sector in the past four decades, with strategic projects worth hundreds of millions of euros”.
“These investments include modernising units B1 and B2 in TC Kosova B, advancing procedures for launching the rehabilitation and deep modernisation project A3 unit in TC Kosova A, as well as developing the solar park project with a capacity of 100me.
