Undeclared goods worth over 16 thousand euros found in Merdar

According to Dogan's announcement, during the detailed search of a selection of imports selected for verification by competent customs units, undeclared goods have been recorded, as well as differences between goods declared in customs documentation and the actual cargo state.

“Physical control has resulted in the discovery of considerable quantities of various goods, including electronics, electrical equipment, labor tools and other products, which were not declared at all in the customs declaration. Also, cases of incorrect goods statements have been found, in which the description of products did not comply with the real nature of imported goods”.

It becomes known that as a result of these violations, avoidance of customs and tax duties has been estimated at 4,880,62 euros.
