Secret Service Kills Person near White House, Suspect Opens Fire at Officers

Gunshots fired near the White House have caused panic and immediate security measures Saturday evening in Washington, as Secret Service agents responded quickly to secure the area around the presidential complex. The incident occurred just a few metres from the presidential residence, alarming the media staff and the American authorities.
The US Secret Service confirmed that they are investigating shooting reports at the intersection of “17th Street” and “Pensylvania Avenue Northwest”, near the White House. After shooting reports, journalists at “North Lawn” were urgently evacuated and sent to the press briefing room within the presidential complex, writes CNN Transaction Periscope.
According to witnesses, inside the facility security agents were heard shouting “bow down”, while warning of possible dangers from firearms. One journalist said the shooting seemed to come from the area near the “Eissenhower Executive Office Building” building facility, which is part of the White House complex.
Armed Secret Service agents were seen moving rapidly into the area and blocking the entrances around the press hall. The isolation measure was lifted around 18:45 local time in the US after the situation was brought under control.
As of international media, the suspect was reportedly killed by the exchange of fire with secret service agents.
It's known to be about a 21-year-old named Narsi Best, who was reportedly having psychic problems, says BBC.
At the moment of the incident, President Donald Trump was at the White House residence.
