Loyal Tahiri: Youth employment remains one of the main challenges in Kosovo

AAK deputy candidate, Besnik Tahiri, has declared that employing young people continues to be one of the greatest worries Kosovo is facing.
According to him, the largest burden is currently falling on the gastronomy sector, which is also the sector that employs the largest number of young people and youth in the country.
Tahiri has stressed that gastronoms are facing serious problems such as inflation, rising prices and continued financial pressure, while according to him they are being forced to keep the prices of basic products as espresso, water and food unchanged.
The pressure on them, from tax obligations, job responsibilities, and the securing of wages for workers, is insane”, he has declared.
On the other hand, Tahiri has introduced three measures that, according to him, are envisioned in the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo programme.
The first move is related to fiscal facilitating policies for businesses, especially for the gastronomic sector. The second measure involves the long - term subsidy of each worker, not just temporary financial support.
While the third move, according to Tahiri, envisions direct facilities for development projects that will be realised in co-operation with the state of Kosovo.
“We are here to give sense to Kosovo, to give hope to young people and to enable a better life”, Tahiri has concluded.
