Kurt and his wife declare $530,000 in Norway and over 72 thousand in annual revenues

Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his wife have declared 72 thousand euros in annual revenues, 16 euros in Kurti's personal savings, 19 thousand and 500 euros in women's savings, and a 67 square metres flat in Oslo, Norway, worth 530 thousand euros, bought on credit.

For example, show the MPs how many methods they are to calculate the gross domestic product and tell us one of them. Very simple! A prime minister needs to know how many methods -- generally in the economy -- are for grossly calculating local product and tells us one of them. That's it, elementary test. ”

Although on May 31st 2018 challenged then Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, with gross count of local product, eight years later it seems that knowledge of the ways of accounting did not suffice for the current prime minister, Albin Kurti, to increase him.

GDP or gross domestic product reflects a country's economic success, given the amount of production, consumption, investments, imports and exports of a state within a certain period.

Despite Kurti's suggesting that she knows all the methods of measuring it, it was not enough, since after nearly seven years of government, Kosovo for 2025 resulted, either by GDP or gross domestic product, Europe's second poorest country, after Moldova, according to International Monetary Fund data.

In an interview on Kohavision's interactive “ ” show, regarding this result, Kurti said there is improvement, but we continue to remain poor.

We were not only the poorest, we were very poor. We're much less poor now. And yet we are among the poorest. This is reality. ”

Yet, poverty has followed after 2025.

Kosovo has scored a 7.5 per cent price increase in April 2026, compared to the month of April last year.

According to Kosovo Statistics Agency data, this price increase includes housing, electricity, water, food, personal care and others.

However, this does not seem to have impoverished even some of the representatives of the people who have not stopped entering financial obligations to increase their wealth in real estate.

Year after year, dwellings, homes and property of the ruling politicians or opposition are growing.

The “will no longer have a small salary and a large profit”, he had said on April 20th this year.

Apparently, this statement has remained only one story, because many MPs in power and opposition and ministers of Albin Kurti, even with small salaries from the state budget, are finally managing to buy residences, houses and real estate hundreds of thousands of euros.

While another part of MPs and ministers, while their income is similar to wealthy colleagues, they say they have nothing left to save, but only to survive.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his wife had 72 thousand euros in revenue during 2025. Of them, on March 31, 2026, he has declared only 16 euros and 41 cents as savings. His wife, however, had saved 19 thousand and 500 euros.

While Prime Minister Kurti does not have his property in Kosovo, his wife on her behalf has a 67 square metres flat in Oslo, Norway, worth 530 thousand euros, bought in 2018 on credit.
