KEK says unit B2 is becoming the annual “remont: TC Kosova B investments towards EU standards

The Kosovo Energy Corporation said it started “the implementation of the 30-day regular 30-day remont äüüüüüp unit B2 at the Kosova B” plant, the investments in which, say, are “directly to EU standards”.
“This process is part of regular operational planning and is aimed at technical maintenance, increased security in operation and ensuring the unit's sustainable functioning”, KEK report said.
KEK says even “entia B1 of TC Kosova B has been subjected to major modernisation projects, including the construction of electrofils and the DeNOx system, which started in April and are expected to end at the beginning of December”.
After the completion of these investments, it is expected to significantly increase the safety of operations, extend the entity's life expectancy for about 20 years and, above all, ensure functioning in line with the European Union's higher standards in the area of environmental protection”, the report said.
