June 6th vote in 17 embassies and 13 consulates in 18 states

A day before election day in our country, Kosovo citizens living in 18 different states of the world will be able to vote in diplomatic representations located in these states.
This is the third time Kosovo will organise physical voting in a large number of states where the mrgata is largely concentrated. Central Election Commission spokesman Valmir Elezi has indicated that on June 6th the polling stations will open on 30 diplomatic representations of the state of Kosovo to enable the vote of more than 27,724 Kosovo citizens, who have registered and elected this way of voting.
On June 6th, the voting process for the Kosovo Assembly elections will take place in 17 embassies and 13 consulates scattered in 18 different states of the world. According to local time, the vote will first begin at the embassy in Ankara and at the Kosovo consulate in Istanbul, to continue with opening other centres in diplomatic representations located in the states of Europe. In the end, the vote will close the US and Canada, where embassies in Washington and Ottawa and consulates in New York and Toronto” will open for voting, Elez said.
Elez has also explained the changes that have accompanied the process of determining diplomatic representations in which physical voting will be held. Initially, the CEC had planned for the vote to be organised at 48 diplomatic representations, but that number has been reduced to 30 since in 18 of them the number of registered voters was below 50. “According to the Election Policy for Registering and Vote outside Kosovo, if the number of voters registered for a vote on a diplomatic representation is below 50, the physical vote on that diplomatic representation is not organised and registered voters will automatically pass to voters' status via mail and will be announced by the CEC. In general, the number of registered voters in these 18 diplomatic representations in which there will be no physical vote is less than 100. All these voters will be able to vote via mail, which started on 21 May and will end on June 6th”, Elez explained.
The voting process on June 6th 2026 will take place in these diplomatic representations: 1. Germany (Berlin embassy); Frankfurt consulate; Hamburg é consulate; Munich é consulate; Stuttgart consulate; Twosseldorf consulate; two. Switzerland (Berne embassy); Geneva ? consulate; Cyril é consulate; 3. United Kingdom (Lonnder é embassy); 4. France (Paris ) embassy; Strasbourg é consulate; 5. Belgium (Brussels embassy); 6.
