January: Kosovo imported goods worth nearly 71m euros from Serbia

During the first four months of 2026 alone, Kosovo imported goods worth nearly 71m euros, nearly 300 thousand more in the same period of the year.
This is considered disturbing, as the incumbent executive had already come to power with calls for the protection of local production and the avoidance of the neighbouring state.
The statement Ahmeti, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said businesses are being forced to import millions of financial euros from Serbia, though resources exist in Kosovo, but the Law on Public Property is failing to exploit them.
