(a month ago)Albania's Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha has held a meeting in Prague today with Special European Representative for Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue Peter Sorensen.
Through a post at “X”, Hoxha said he expressed appreciation for his continued commitment and support of the European Union for democratic co-operation, institutional strengthening, rule of law reforms and economic development in the Republic of Kosovo.
Kosovo remains strongly anchored on its European road, clearly oriented towards EU integration and fully in line with the European Union's Joint Foreign and Security Policy. Albania believes that this continued commitment deserves proper recognition and must be fulfilled with the granting of EU candidate status to Kosovo, an important and encouraging political signal for its citizens and for the wider European future of the region”, it has written.
On the other hand, Hoxha said dialogue remains the only sustainable path to full normalisation of Kosovo-Serbia relations.
“also, reiterated that Dialogue remains the only sustainable path towards full normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, representing a substantial contribution to a new chapter in relations between the two neighbouring countries and for peace, stability and sustainable co-operation throughout the wide region”, Hoxha has written on X.
